Flyers training camp to open September 15th

It’s here guys: the long awaited dates for the start of Flyers training camp. Of course, rookie camp will start on Monday at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, (Monday is free and open to the public!) and training camp will start next Friday.

A total of 61 players will be taking part in training camp (37 forwards, 17 defenders and 7 goaltenders), and will be split into two different groups skating at different times in the morning.

There are not any surprises when it comes to the training camp roster, but there is only one training camp invitee in Ivan Kosorenkov, a right winger, who played in the QMJHL last season with Pascal Laberge.

Flyers will host their rookie camp Monday through Wednesday in anticipation of the Rookie Game on Wednesday vs the Islanders at the Wells Fargo Center.
