Looking Ahead to Week 2 of the NFL Season

New Orleans Saints v Atlanta Falcons

There is only one thing better than football, and that’s more football. With the first weekend of the NFL season behind us, it’s time to start looking forward to Week 2. There are a lot of enticing matchups on the slate and plenty of opportunities to
win some good money on Football betting. As we look ahead, here are some of the key matchups that should be both exciting and a good opportunity for placing a wager.

It’s always fun to watch football in the stadium rather than TV. The atmosphere in the stadium is something else; you can shout and sing with other supporters. Minnesota Vikings at Pittsburgh Steelers

This is a Super Bowl rematch from the days of old. While the stakes won’t be nearly as high this time around, this game is sure to be an exciting one. Minnesota’s defense may have just what it takes to slow down Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown. Meanwhile, the Steelers are looking ot keep pace with the Baltimore Ravens and maintain their first place standing in the AFC North.

New England Patriots at New Orleans Saints

The Patriots took a very tough and unexpected loss in Week 1 to the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, the pressure is on Tom Brady and Bill Belichick to bounce back from that humiliating defeat. If the Patriots falter again in New Orleans, there are going to be many questions asked in New England about where this team is heading. Belichick is always one to avoid distractions and the best way to avoid them would be for his team to win and avoid their first 0-2 start since the 2001 season. Their task won’t be an easy one. If the Patriots defense struggled with Alex Smith, they have an even taller order trying to slow down Drew Brees in the Superdome.

Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos

Two of the Nfl’s premiere franchises will go head to head in yet another Super Bowl rematch from long ago. The Cowboys are looking to get off to a strong start in 2017 and will have to deal with a stifling Broncos defense in addition to the altitude in the Mile High City. This game will be a huge test for Dak Prescott as he starts his sophomore season.

Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons

A rematch of last season’s NFC Championship awaits us in Week 2. Last year, the Falcons throttled the Packers to earn the right to go to Super Bowl LI in Houston. This time, Aaron Rodgers is hoping to settle the score. The Packers already knocked off the Seahawks in Week 1, the team that kept them from the Super Bowl back in 2015. Will they continue the revenge tour and take down the dirty birds? If Matt Ryan has anything to say about it, they won’t. The reigning NFL MVP will be locked in and ready to go in this battle of two of the NFL’s top quarterbacks.
