Carmelo Anthony tees off on ESPN in Instagram post

International Champions Cup 2017 - Real Madrid v FC Barcelona

Carmelo Anthony, at this point in his career, isn’t afraid to speak his mind if he feels that he’s been wronged. As a veteran in the league, he’s certainly earned that right.

Well Melo apparently is not happy about how ESPN has viewed his skill set heading into the 2017-18 season, judging by a recent Instagram post.

ESPN has been releasing its annual player rankings, and they tabbed Melo as No. 64 in the league. That number seemed to be a bit low, and Melo was not happy about it. Here’s what he had to say.

“Can’t Make Sense Out Of Non Sense! AS LONG AS I KNOW IM NICE, FUCK IT IM MY OWN FAN “A certain darkness is needed to see the stars.” @Espn Don’t be so Blatant with the disrespect #GoneToFar #LineEmUp STAYME7O”

Melo does raise a good point. He came in at No. 31 last season, but averaged more points per game in 2016 (22.4) than in 2015 (21.8).
