The Washington Capitals hosted the St. Louis Blues in a preseason game at Verizon Center on Friday night, and the face of the team tried to scare its opponent into oblivion.

Check out the team’s mascot, Slapshot, who was dressed as “Pennywise,” the clown who’s the villain in the movie “It.”
