The Vegas Golden Knights had their home opener at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday night, and it was quite the scene.

The mood for the team’s first home game in franchise history was a bit somber at first, though, as a 58-second moment of silence was held to honor the victims that died in the shooting.

The team honored them by putting all 58 names on the ice, and it was quite powerful.

It seemed to fire the team up as well. They jumped out to a 4-1 lead after one period of play, and did not look back.
