The Giancarlo Stanton sweepstakes officially began when the 2017 MLB season ended, as multiple teams have been making pitches for the Marlins slugger.
At least seven teams are reportedly interested in Stanton’s services, with the favorites being the Cardinals, Giants, Phillies and Red Sox.
The Dodgers, on Tuesday, also entered the mix, which is interesting, being that Stanton celebrated his birthday over the weekend in Hollywood. The Marlins slugger turned 28 on Nov. 8, and elected to celebrate with rappers G-Eazy and Wiz Khalifa, which we now have video of. In it, multiple women are seen spelling Stanton’s name, which is a pretty good selling point for why Stanton should play in Los Angeles.
Singer Lexy Panterra was there as well, and she delivered a surprise birthday performance for Stanton at the West Hollywood club.
Stanton seemed to be enjoying himself on his big day, and he had quite the cast of characters there celebrating with him.
