Bearcats BlogCast: Crosstown Knockdown

podlogo

Hi, this is a new edition of the Bearcats BlogCast. At least, it’s new when this post gets published. If you look at this post in the year 2021, it is not new. This was a not ideal start to a post that reflects on a podcast about the Bearcats whooping that Musketeer ass in the Crosstown Shootout.

The Shootout is the first thing and the main thing that Chris Bains and myself discuss. We hit the important topics, like Cincinnati’s smothering defense, Justin Jenifer’s big game, Tre Scott throwing up another double double, Jarron Cumberland carrying the load and Keith Williams breaking out. We do discuss a couple of the drawbacks from this one, like the lack of three point shooting.

That ties in somewhat well with Chris and I previewing the game at Mississippi State this weekend. This weekend in real time, not this weekend in 2021. The current upcoming game is in the past. Another solid start to a paragraph.

Chris and I ultimately think different things about the game but we do agree that this should be the biggest test of the season. Mississippi State has played at a very high level, a level in which we go into detail.

From there, we spin through the AAC, mainly focusing on if this can be a 5 bid league in the near future.

You can find the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play and anywhere else podcasts are found, as we have gone double dipping. If there are more places you want the podcast, I will provide them. As always, thank you for your support. It’s greatly appreciated.
