LeBron James calls out refs for questionable foul in Thunder game

NFL: NFC Divisional Playoff-Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams

Lakers star LeBron James remains sidelined with a groin injury, and he may not return to action until late next week, at the earliest.

But that hasn’t stopped him from sticking up for his teammates, if he feels they were wronged.

The Lakers and Thunder battled it out on the court at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Thursday night, trading shots back and forth in the fourth quarter, in a contest that was close throughout. Los Angeles had a three-point lead late, but Russell Westbrook was sent to the free-throw line to attempt a trio, after a questionable foul call. It was ruled that Westbrook was in the act of shooting, although he didn’t look like he was.

LeBron actually sent a tweet to the NBA refs’ official account — questioning the foul call in the game.

He can expect a fine for that, which he can easily absorb. As for the Lakers, they fought hard in overtime and came out on top, 138-128.
