Your Daily Cartoon: Can Andy Reid step out of Bill Belichick’s shadow?

NFL: AFC Divisional Playoff-Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

Bill Belichick has had the upper hand against pretty much every other NFL head coach during his tenure with the Patriots, and Andy Reid is no different.

Belichick is 6-2 against Reid during his career (Eagles and Chiefs), and 2-0 in the playoffs. Most importantly, the only Super Bowl Reid’s team ever appeared in lost to Belichick’s Patriots. The 24-21 loss in Super Bowl XXXIX is something Reid will be looking to get revenge for on Sunday, when the Chiefs host the Patriots in the title game on Sunday.

Everything lines up well for the Chiefs in this matchup, but that may be exactly how Belichick wants it to look.
