‘WWE Royal Rumble’ Results: Who Is Going To ‘WrestleMania 35?’

The 2019 Royal Rumble is officially in the books and WWE fans are buzzing over the results. The show had extremely high expectations going in and it delivered on every level.

Veterans returned, titles changed hands and the crowd was fully invested. The Royal Rumble had a big fight feel and it definitely had a WrestleMania feel as well.

So who’s going to WrestleMania?

-Chad Gable and Bobby Roode defeated Scott Dawson and Rezar to retain the Raw Tag Team Championships

-Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Rusev to become the new United States champion

-Buddy Murphy defeated Akira Tozawa, Hideo Itami and Kalisto to retain the Cruiserweight Championship

-Asuka defeated Becky Lynch by tap-out to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship

-The Miz and Shane McMahon defeated The Bar to become the new SmackDown Tag Team champions

-Ronda Rousey defeated Sasha Banks to retain the Raw Women’s Championship

-Becky Lynch is a last-minute entrant to win the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, will now challenge either SmackDown Women’s champion Asuka or Raw Women’s champion Ronda Rousey for the main event of WrestleMania 35

-Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles with an assist from Erick Rowan to retain the WWE Championship

-Brock Lesnar defeated Finn Balor to retain the Universal Championship

-Seth Rollins wins the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, will now challenge either Universal champion Brock Lesnar or WWE champion Daniel Bryan for the main event of WrestleMania 35

The Royal Rumble delivered on every level. Many fans believed that the event would pale in comparison to NXT Takeover:Phoenix from the night before, but those concerns were certainly unfounded.
