Colts young star Darius Leonard turned in one of the best rookie campaigns we’ve ever seen by a linebacker, and the sky is the limit for him going forward. If he remains healthy, playing in that scheme, he should be in line to record double-digit tackles nearly every game, as the defense essentially funnels the action toward him.
As such, combined with the fact that he helps anchor the defense, Leonard should be in line for a big payday in the future, and he appears to be aware of that. He recently paid it back to the woman that helped him get where he is, and it was great to watch.
Leonard bought his mother a brand-new Mercedes-Benz car, and she had a great reaction to the surprise. Check it out below.
