James Harden, currently the Houston Rockets shooting guard, is an eight-time NBA All-Star and a holder of Olympic gold medals. His enormous list of achievements makes him a player to watch out for as well as his title for scoring 50+ points in 10+3PM in back-to-back games. As the highest all-time left-handed scorer in NBA history, it will be interesting to see what he has in store for us this year.

Kawhi Leonard

Starting out with the Toronto Raptors and moving on to Los Angeles Clippers, Leonard plays small forward. So far this year, he has shown incredible potential, recording over 30 points in 5 consecutive games during the first round of the 2020 NBA playoffs. According to NBA DFS experts at Awesemo, Leonard’s averaging 58.5 DraftKings points (and a $10,400 salary), making him a stud pick and a favorite option.

Undoubtedly one of the most famous NBA players in history, LeBron James, is bound to be on every top player list. Playing the small forward/power forward for the Lakers, he holds three NBA championships, Olympic gold medals, and four MVP awards. His four-year deal is worth $154 million, and while the season has been suspended, he started off strong, with a victory against both the Bucks and Clippers.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Nicknamed the “Great Freak,” Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron are compared continuously due to their size, speed, and vast skill set. Playing power forward/small forward for the Bucks, he has taken home 4 NBA All-Star awards during his short time playing. One of his most outstanding achievements was becoming the first player in history to finish a season in the top 20 of all five statistics.

Stephen Curry

Playing point guard for the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry has set many records, with some individuals stating he is the most excellent shooter in history. With six NBA All-Star Awards and 3 NBA championships up his sleeve, he has led the Warriors to many victories. Although he has recently recovered from a hand injury, he still has been coming out on top, recording 23 points against the Raptors in March.

Anthony Davis

Another member of the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis, plays the power forward/center position and is known for his incredible talent. With a long list of awards up his sleeve, his experience has undoubtedly made him an asset to the team. However, there have been reports that he declined an extension contract to perhaps opt for a free agency.

And that’s it! These were the top 6 NBA players in 2020. What do you think? Are there are any players that you would add to the list?
