VIDEO: John Kruk on Late Show with David Letterman (1993)

How many pieces of gum did John Kruk go through during a game back in 1993? Why did Kruk wear the number 29, and how much did he get for it? What did Kruk think about playing games in Denver? Check out this old video footage of the former Phillies first baseman answering these questions and more as a guest on Late Show with David Letterman, from 1993.

Did anyone else catch the moment of foreshadowing, when Kruk suggests the team would have to get rid of Larry Bowa if he was the manager? Bowa was fired as manager 11 years later at the end of the 2004 season.

Unfortunately I can't find the second half of this interview. If anyone happens to have it or finds it, please let me know so I can add it to this post when I get a chance. I did, however, find a clip of his interview on the show a year earlier (1992).
