This offseason has seemed to drag on forever, which is incredible, because the last one took so damn long. This year, there is actually a full preseason, with exhibition games and a training camp. Some of those games were on TV. Players are actually fighting for roster spots, rather than just getting thrown out on the ice after a year away. This should be a regular occurrance, but after last year, it feels awesome.
