I wanted to take a minute or two of your time to introduce ourselves for those of you that might be checking us out for the 1st time. You may be thinking this is new, right? Well, you are correct, sorta, the site is new, however the staff behind this site isn’t new at all.
For those of you coming over with us from WiscoBadgers.com I want to say thank you for your loyalty and I hope we can bring you even better coverage and I hope you like our new home. We really want to hear what you have to say and hope that you’ll look to comment on our posts more here than at the last home.
For that I wanted to let you know about the amazing features our comments section has available to you all:
#1 – You will need to either register with Livefyre, or sign in using Facebook or Twitter for now.
#2 – If you go to LiveFyre.com and sign into their account (in the upper right), you can manage you account settings. Things such as how and when you receive new comment email notifications, bio information, account picture, etc etc.
#2 – Flickr, Twitpic, tinypic, and imgur are the supported image sources, meaning you just copy and paste the URL into the comment box and the image shows up as a thumbnail.
#3- For videos, YouTube and Vimeo work. Just paste the URL, and it works.
We will be ramping up our full lineup of staff members and coverage as the week goes on, so please bare with us while we work any of the kinks out.
I know we’re please to be making the move and want to thank Ben and the rest of the staff at Bloguin for the opportunity to give our coverage a new look and an increased chance to improve what we’ve already been doing.
For those not familar with our coverage just know that we strive to bring the best and most up to date news and opinions on all things Badgers from a great staff of writers that stay engaged with the community that is Badgers Nation.
On behalf of myself and the staff (Arman, Anthony, Jonathon, and Sacsha) we want to say WELCOME and hope you enjoy your time spent with us at MadTown Badgers.
