The Wisconsin women's hockey team was shutout for the second game in a row in a 1-0 loss to Minnesota-Duluth Sunday afternoon at AMSOIL Arena.
The loss marks the first time since 2001 the Badgers have been blanked in consecutive games.
Jessica Wong scored the lone goal with just under two minutes left the first period.
UW goaltender Alex Rigsby posted 27 saves in the loss.
Wisconsin out-shot the Bulldogs 56-45 over the weekend, but were out-scored 3-0.
The Badgers' penalty kill was 6-6 in the series, but the powerplay unit went 0-8.
With the loss, Wisconsin falls to 3-2-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the WCHA play.
Wisconsin opens up the home portion of its season Friday night when they host Bemidji State at the new La Bahn Arena. Faceoof is slated for 7 p.m.
