The Wisconsin men's wrestling team knocked off Northern Iowa 24-13 in a non-conference dual meet Saturday night at the UW Fieldhouse.
The Badgers picked up six points the easy way as the Panthers forfeit the 125 pound weight class.
UNI got on the board in the next match as Levi Wolfensperger knocked off Tom Kelliher by a count of 6-4 at 133.
Eighth-ranked Tyler Graff got things rolling again, on week after suffering his first loss of the season, with a pin in 3:46 to put the Badgers up 12-3 after three matches.
Cole Schmitt picked up three additional team points for Wisconsin when he squeaked out a 2-1 win at 149 pounds.
The Panthers cut into the deficit with wins at 157,165, and 174 respectively, making the score 15-13 in favor of UW.
Dylan Iczkowski stopped the bleeding for the Badgers when he defeated Austin Gelback 3-2 at 184 pounds to put Wisconsin up by five.
Jackson Hein and Connor Medbery sealed the deal for UW with back-to-back wins at 197 and 285 pounds.
Hein (5-0) and Medbery (4-0) remain undefeated on the season.
With the win, Wisconsin improves to 3-2 on the season. The Badgers will now turn their attention to their first tournament of the year as they travel to Las Vegas, Nev. to participate in the Cliff Keen Invitational, a tournament that features wrestlers from 32 schools, on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
