Ball named 1st team All-American

The first of the countless All-American teams out there came down today as the AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) named their All-American's. On that list was one Montee Ball, who became the only Badger in history to be named a 1st team All-American in back-to-back seasons by the AFCA. 

Ball was also the only offensive player on the team to return from the 2011 team, joining linebacker Manti Te'o of Notre Dame as the only two players overall to make back-to-back appearances on the team. The AFCA has been naming an All-American team since 1945.

Overall Alabama led the way with three players on the team while Stanford and Clemson were the only other schools with multiple players on the team with two each.
