The Big Ten released their winter Academic All-Conference teams on Wednesday afternoon and the Badgers were well represented, but no one topped outgoing senior basketball star Ryan Evans, who led the way for the Wisconsin contingent by keeping up his cumulative 4.0 GPA.
Evans was one of just nine student-athletes to carry that honor in the conference, out of 620 people named to the list throughout the conference. Overall the Badgers had 34 student-athletes named to the academic All-Conference team. As a team it was the Women's Swimmers and Divers that took the most honors for the Badgers.
In order for someone to achieve academic All-Conference honors the student-athlete must be letter winners in their second academic year at their institution and carry a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA. Here are the Badgers named to that list by sport:

Jared Berggren, Zach Bohannon, Ryan Evans, and Dan Fahey
