Three Badger commits receive invites to U.S. Army All-American Bowl

The number of high school all-star games has gone up over the past few years, but there's only one original and it usually features the top of the heap more often than not and in 2014 it'll have a good flavor of Wisconsin to it as three of the four commits to the University of Wisconsin will be participating in the event this coming January.

On Thursday offensive lineman Jaden Gault received his invite to play in the all-star game.

He'll join future teammate and fellow Wisconsinite Craig Evans, who also has received an invite to the prestigious event according to a tweet by BadgerNation.com:

Also joining the ranks is defensive lineman Connor Sheehy also received his official invite on Thursday. Sensing a pattern to these invites yet?

Wisconsin has a history of players in this event, with the last being now redshirt freshman Vince Biegel in the 2012 recruiting class and it could be even larger in 2014 as you'll see below. But, it's not the only big recruiting news either.

Also of note on the recruiting trail is the fact that Wisconsin's top 2014 target at QB, Kyle Allen, is a member of the Ellie 11 finals. The Elite 11 is one of, if not the most prestigious competition for high school QB's that offers a chance to learn and grow at the hands of some of the best QB guru's and former NFL talents in the country.

Along with that Allen also received two major offers this week adding Notre Dame and Ohio State to the growing list. It'll be a big weekend for Wisconsin with Allen as they host the 247sports Top 50 QB, who is the No. 1 QB by Scout.com and is ranked 136th in the nation and 4th as a Pro-Style QB by Rivals. He's also going to be playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

In fact there are a number of players out there with Wisconsin offers already committed to playing in the game. Here is the list:

Bryson Allen-Williams, LB, Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove
Myles Autry, ATH, Norcross (Ga.) High
Jalen Brown, WR, Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe
Khairi Clark, DL, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna
Clifton Garrett, LB, Plainfield (Ill.) High
Connor Humphreys, DL, Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic
Jamil Kamara, WR, Virginia Beach (Va.) Bishop Sullivan Catholic
Malik McDowell, DL, Detroit (Mich.) Loyola
Joe Mixon, RB, Oakley (Calif.) Freedom
Nyles Morgan, LB, Crete (Ill.) Crete-Monee
Kevin Mouhon, LB, Norcross (Ga.) High
Derrick Nnadi, DL, Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes
Korie Rogers, LB, Buford (Ga.) High

Of course this list will likely shrink with commitments and movement all over the place, but should any of them be looking to play the hat-dance on national TV or haven't made up their minds by the time that week happens having committed players on the roster can only help.
