You've got to love the even numbers, right? That's because today we're just 50 days away from firing up the grills, stocking the coolers, and enjoying all things Bucky before an actual football game happens on Aug. 31st inside Camp Randall Stadium. Who isn't ready for it to happen already, huh?
It also means that for us here at MTB we're just Josh Harrison to the start of the 2013 Badgers football season!
Harrison's Story So Far:
– Harrison made his first tackle as a Badger memorable, recording it in the 2012 Big Ten Championship game against Nebraska.
– Was switched from linebacker to defensive line in 2012 and with the new 3-4 scheme is back to linebacker.
– Majoring in sociology
History of No. 50 at Wisconsin:
Tim Krumrie (NT, 1979-82): For the "dark years" of Badger football Krumrie is easily one of the brightest spots that happened. He was a consensus All-American in 1981 and was a three time All-Big Ten selection during his time in Madison. He ranks 3rd all-time in total tackles and is the career leader in solo tackles as a Badger. His 444 total tackles is a record for most by a defensive lineman at Wisconsin. He also started all 46 games he played at Wisconsin. Krumrie went on to a successfull NFL career, playing with the Cincinnati Bengals from 1983-1994 and making two Pro Bowl appearances.
