Wisconsin football joins the iPad revolution

Over at CrystalBallRun I put together an article talking about the compensation football players receive, even within the parameters of the NCAA, and I only bring it up because today the Badgers football program joined the growing trend of iPads for playbooks and more. 

Corey Clement, the freshman running back, had this to say via his Twitter account:

So, the Badgers football program joins the iPad revolution – one that isn't limited to just football, but all the way down to 3rd grade classrooms as a way to replace increasingly cumbersome and expensive traditional textbooks. 

I'm sure this will be a much talked about and thusly, blown out of proportion, topic at Media Day tomorrow. But for the players it's a perk that they receive that not many of their fellow college students receive for no additional cost.
