MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin football team will take part in ‘Shave to Save’ on Thursday, Oct. 3 at noon in the UW locker room. A number of UW football players, including WR Jared Abbrederis, LG Ryan Groy and TE Jacob Pedersen, will have their heads shaved to raise awareness and funding for childhood cancer research at the American Family Children’s Hospital.
Patients from the American Family Children’s Hospital will have the honor of shaving the players’ heads. Once the players’ heads are shaved, the patients and their families will enjoy a pizza party with the Badgers.
