After winning the Cancun Challenge, the Badgers predictably moved up in both the AP and USA Today Coaches polls. The Badgers moved up to 8th and 9th respectively.

Seven of the teams ahead of Wisconsin are the same in both polls. The only difference is that two-loss Duke is still ranked ahead of the Badgers in the Coaches Poll.

Michigan State stays number one for the third straight week, with Ohio State ranked 5th in the AP and 3rd in the Coaches poll. Michigan is ranked 22 and 21 respectively, while Iowa falls in at 23 and 24. The Hoosiers also move up the Coaches poll to 23rd.

This is a big week for the Badgers as they have two difficult games. They head to Virginia on Wednesday for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and then face Marquette at home on Saturday. While neither Virginia nor Marquette is ranked, this is the toughest non-conference week of the season for Wisconsin.

Win these two and this streak could last a while.
