When news came out during the Marquette game that George Marshall was transferring, it wasn't that much of a surprise.
He missed much of the season due to a concussion and when he returned his minutes weren't there as Josh Gasser was back and Bronson Koenig had impressed.
Now's he's found a place to play.
Recent reports have confirmed that Marshall will be enrolling at South Dakota State this semester. He will be eligible to play starting the Spring 2015 semester. Marshall was also looking at North Texas and hometown Illinois-Chicago.
What makes this placement a little interesting is the fact that the Jackrabbits don't currently have an open scholarship so at the very least, he will be footing the bill for this semester.
We wish George Marshall the best of luck with his career in The Summit League.
