If you were hoping to take in Ohio State, Michigan or newcomer Maryland at the Kohl Center next season, forget about it. You're slate of entertaining games in the Big Ten are next to none in 2014-15.
On Friday, the Big Ten announced the matchups for the new-look basketball league for next season.
Wisconsin fans will at least get to see one of the marquee names, as Michigan State will make a trip to the Kohl Center. However, there has to be some sense of disappointment as Wisconsin will only get one crack at the Spartans, along with Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue and Rutgers.
Home-and-away series' will be against Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern and Penn State (YAAAWWWNN).
While it is nice to see rivals like the Gophers and Hawkeyes on the schedule twice, it would've been nice to see more games against the other major conference contenders.
