<![CDATA[Wisconsin fans are anxiously awaiting word on commitments from two of the biggest players in the country, but until then the Badgers have quietly gone about evaluating another rising in-stater in De Pere, Wis. guard Brevin Pritzl.
On Tuesday, the Badgers offered the 6’3″, 175-pound shooting guard. He is rated as the No. 175-ranked player by the 247 composite, the No. 45-ranked shooting guard and the No. 5-ranked player in the state of Wisconsin. the 247Sports rankings have him as the No. 14 shooting guard and the No. 4 player in the state.
The Green Bay area native has blown up this AAU season, and recently went off for 37 points in a half and then went for 41 in the very next game of an AAU tournament. It was that effort in front of assistant coach Greg Gard and a growing national interest in Prtizl that led to Wisconsin pulling the trigger on an offer before the July evaluation period.

Just how important could this earlier-than-expected offer be? Well, considering programs like North Carolina, Indiana, Michigan, Texas and Marquette were beginning to inquire one gets the picture of just how big this in-state product could be.
Along with the Badgers offer, Prtizl has high-major offers from Creighton and Xavier. Both Green Bay and Milwaukee have also offered among the 11 known offers.]]>
