After that little break we hit our first player in the 80’s as we are now only 86 days away from kickoff in Houston.
Today we feature redshirt sophomore wide receiver, Alex Erickson.
Erickson’s Story So Far:
– Earned his first letter in 2013, after playing in all 13 games and starting in three.
– Set career highs in receptions and receiving yards against Penn State with four catches for 49 yards.
– Wisconsin State Journal small school football player of the year his senior year at Darlington and also three time all-state in basketball.
What to Expect in 2014:
Hopefully, quite a bit. With the receiving crew taking a large hit, and honestly, being pretty one-dimensional as was last year, the Badgers need a couple guys to step up and compliment the strong running game. Erickson has the talent, ability, and experience to be one of those guys. I expect to see Alex as one of the top three receivers on the team while putting up strong but not spectacular numbers.
