The Wisconsin Badgers don’t have a lot of room for defensive linemen in the 2015 class, however one of the biggest prospects UW is after is Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech defensive end Joshua Alabi. On Wednesday night Alabi released his Top 5 schools and the Badgers made the cut.
Here go my Top 5 in no order Ohio State, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Michigan State, Miami. 😁😁

Wisconsin hosted the 2015 prospect during it’s annual summer camp just a few weeks ago, and according to our recruiting partners at Badger247 Alabi came away impressed with what Wisconsin had to offer. From the article:
“Talked with the coaches, went out with a couple of players, me, Mike and David Moorman and had a good time. I just feel comfortable up there. I know the whole coaching staff and I know some of the players already committed there.”
Surprising some, Alabi didn’t include Michigan in his Top 5 and most see this battle as a three-way race between Wisconsin, Michigan State and Ohio State. However, it is interesting to see Miami making the list, as they offered him just under a month ago and took an unofficial visit to the Hurricanes five days ago.
Things are far from over in this important recruiting battle, but Wisconsin making it this far for a player out of Cass Tech is a good sign for its chances going forward. With limited spots left in the class Alabi is one player Wisconsin will wait on and can focus a ton of attention on during the next few months.
