The Wisconsin Badgers have had their 2015 quarterback in the fold for over a year, but with Gary Andersen leaving things between the Badgers and 3-star quarterback Austin Kafentzis were a bit up in the air.
On Tuesday night, Kafentzis spoke with Milwaukee radio station 105.7 The Fan about his commitment status. Kafentzis told the world he would stick with his commitment to the Badgers.

He was down to Andersen’s new home of Oregon State and the Badgers, but ultimately it was about honoring the commitment he made and his feel for what new UW head coach Paul Chryst had to say.
Kafentzis is rated as the No. 17 dual-threat quarterback in the 2015 class and the No. 528-ranked overall player in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
The record-shattering quarterback will be an early enrollee at Wisconsin, coming on campus Jan. 12 and will be ready to dive in to Chryst’s playbook.
He’ll have to compete with a large group of quarterbacks, with returning seniors Joel Stave and Tanner McEvoy as well as junior Bart Houston and redshirt freshman D.J. Gillins.
