Wisconsin and Maryland were locked in a pretty heated battle for the commitment of 5-star Whitefish Bay (Wis.) Dominican center Diamond Stone. After finishing off a 4th-straight Division 4 state title last week, Stone sat down and came to a decision this week.
He picked the Terps over the home-state Badgers, announcing his commitment via Twitter:

Also in his final group were Oklahoma State and UConn.
Stone was rated as the No. 2 center in the country and No. 5 overall player in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
