We’re in the market for some new writers with passion, drive and most importantly hooked in to the pulse of Badger nation. Whether you’re a UW student looking for experience, a passionate fan with a unique perspective or anything in between — we’d love to hear from you.
What positions are available? Well here’s a look at some of the positions we would love to fill:
- Basketball beat writer — responsible for game day coverage and working w/ editor to fill weekly stories
- Football beat writer — must be in Madison, available for press conferences and practices as much as possible. Also must be available for game day coverage including at Camp Randall. Work w/ editor to complete weekly writing along with game day coverage.
- General sports writer — this position would help write up general stories about all sports at UW and work closely with the editor. Position requires at least 2-3 articles per week.
