To complain about Jeremy Hefner's second straight pitching performance and a lack of hitting in the Mets' 8-2 loss to Atlanta seems ridiculous after a game marred by Tim Hudson's most likely season ending injury … a fractured ankle suffered when Eric Young accidentally stepped on Hudson as he was covering a play at first base.
Most everybody, certainly all Braves and Mets fans alike that I saw, were civilized and humane on social media. Some had a different take:
worst part about Tim Hudson injury was he was pitching a gem,Young Jr. was easily out at first, played hard for no reason–107 pitches 0 runs

I guess we're all entitled to our opinions … however misguided they may be. And by the way, it was one stride. But you know … facts are pesky. And actually watching the video would have probably been fake hustle anyway.
