The BallUp Streetball Tour is coming to Boston. And Boston Celtic Brandon Bass will be a “guest coach” for the night. The BallUp guys have been entertaining crowds with their high-flying dunks, nasty dribbling and slick passes for years. The team features Grayson “The Professor” Boucher, Larry “Bone Collector” Williams, and my favorite player, as well as a confessed Celtics fan, Taurian “Air Up There” Fontenette. They travel the world, taking on streetball players from each city they visit.
This coming Friday, they will be playing at Harvard’s Lavietes Pavillion from 6pm to 9:30pm. Newly signed Boston Celtics forward Brandon Bass will be on hand as a guest coach. And, if you think you have what it takes to run ball against BallUp, you can tryout. They feature an “open run” in each city. Boston’s is this Friday at 12pm.
