I don’t have time to fully break this down, but it deserves at least a quick mention that Angel play-by-play announcer has passed away at the age of 54 due to a heart attack he suffered this yesterday.
Rory will always be remembered for his signature catch phrase, “Just another Halo victory!” And, of course, holds a special place in Angel lore for his call on Darin Erstad’s World Series winning catch. Rory will certainly be missed as a person as an announcer who was set to assume full-time TV play-by-play for the team this year.
