The Monkey Says: This is kind of a stupid question given that he doesn't even have two full seasons under his belt. There is a long list of guys who started their careers looking great and flamed out in a hurry for a variety of reasons, so let's not get out in front of ourselves here.

The Monkey Says: It is a nice honor for Cron, even if he might have only made the team because the league makes sure every franchise has a representative on the roster.
The Story: Tommy Hanson was a last minute scratch from last night's game due to forearm stiffness.
The Monkey Says: And he was LITERALLY a last minute scratch. This is a situation worth monitoring seeing how Hanson pitched so poorly in his previous start and dealt with tightness in his arm back in training camp.
The Story: The oddity of the Angels scoring 14 runs against Detroit without a single home run.
The Monkey Says: Well, six errors helps. The thing though is that the Halos have done similar things before this season. As good as this offense was supposed to be, the one area they have really been lacking in is power and that is going to continue until Pujols and Hamilton step it up.

The Monkey Says: His command is off right now and I am convinced (mostly through just talking myself into it) that he made mechanical adjustments to lower his arm slot and he is now just working through that change to try and get consistent with his release and find his command.
The Story: Mike Butcher believes Jered Weaver's problem is a lack of flexibility.
