Jerome Williams finally turned in a solid outing, his only egregious mistake a hanging fastball that was clobbered into the right-field seats by Nick Swisher for a two-run home run. that was all the offense Cleveland needed against these hapless, punchless Halos. The only run the Angels scored came on an RBI double that was laced down the right field line by Hank Conger.
The rest of the game went by so quickly, any Halo fan could've blinked and it was over. At this point, the Angels are now slotted for the no. 6 draft pick next season. Perhaps they can make a run at the top 5 before this miserable season is over.

Game Notes
— Hank Conger continues to look like a viable option to start more regularly next season. Not only is it well documented that he has improved on his defense above and beyond that of fellow catcher Chris Iannetta, he is proving to be more than solid with the bat. Of course, with Mike Scioscia still entrenched as manager, you never know with these catcher situations.
— Chris Nelson has been appallingly bad since he hit a grand slam at Yankee stadium. The third baseman is now hitting .229 after striking out another two times and leaving five men on base. Grant Green better hurry on up and learn third base.
