GIF: C.J. Wilson threw a knuckleball… sort of

Pleased with how well his outing was going against the Houston Astros today, C.J. Wilson decided to have a little fun on the mound and threw a knuckleball. Behold the results:

OK, so it was 80 MPH and didn’t appear to have much flutter to it, but C.J. says it was a knuckler, so I’ll take his word for it. Based on the result, I doubt he’ll start working the knuckler into his repertoire, at least not this year. Then again, you never really know with him.
