It was another disaster of a start for Hector Santiago. Or should we start to call him Hector Blantiago? It was so frustrating that I am struggling to put it into words, but sometimes actions speak louder than words…

One game can be written off as a fluke. This is now two disasters in a row. He is really going to have to show something special in his next start if he wants to even be involved in the postseason. I’m starting to think that a Rasmus-Santiago tandem start might not be the worst idea, but Santiago will actually have to prove that he even deserves that much of a role.

If the Angels decide to not use Santiago as a starter, they would be wise to carry Pestano as an extra reliever over Thatcher. Oh, Cam Bedrosian blew up again. That is actually starting to get pretty concerning.
