The Angels had nothing to play for on Friday night, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t giving it their all out ther. Mike Trout most definitely wasn’t mailing it in when he made this ridiculous running, leaping catch:

Trout’s defensive highlights have been a bit sparse this year for whatever reason so we can overlook the fact that he didn’t exactly take the best route on this ball. Nitpick it if you want, but this is definitely another clip Trout can add to the highlight package to commemorate his MVP season.
