The Story: Aroldis Chapman suspended 30 games under new domestic violence policy
MWAH Says: Well, it’s a start. A month-long suspension is certainly not insignificant, but it still feels a little without teeth. Had MLB opted to suspend him for longer, Chapman likely would have appealed because it would have delayed his free agency a year, so 30 games was as long as they could go really. Why suspensions stop a player’s service-time clock at all is a mystery.

MWAH Says: Will be curious to see what the TV situation will be for this one. Cuba has rather infamously banned television broadcasts of MLB games, so what happens when an MLB club plays the Cuban national team?
