Adam Breneman chooses Penn State

Penn State received its fourth verbal commitment on Friday night when the nation’s top tight end, Adam Breneman, announced his commitment at Cedar Cliff High School.

Adam Breneman chooses Penn State

Adam Breneman chose Penn State over his other finalist, Ohio State, Maryland, and Notre Dame. Breneman also holds scholarship offers from over 30 schools across the nation, including Alabama, Stanford, and Florida State.

Breneman is the highest ranked to recruit to choose Penn State since 2006, based on Rivals.com rankings. He is also the highest rated recruit to come out of Cedar Cliff High School since Kyle Brady, who went on to be a star at tight end on Penn State’s undefeated 1994 team.

This commitment is just the second for Penn State by an offensive player. The other came from Virginia quarterback, Christian Hackenberg.

Stay tuned for more on Adam Breneman’s decision.
