Penn State’s men’s volleyball team had their national title hopes dashed last night. The No. 8 Nittany Lions went down 3-1 to No. 2 UC Irvine in the national semifinals last night in Los Angeles. Congrats to the volleyball team on what was a fine season.

Penn State’s homecoming game against Northwestern is scheduled for a 12 p.m. kickoff (YAY!), but TV details will have to be shared at a later time.
In baseball, Purdue is closing in on their first Big Ten title since 1908. Penn State is in Minnesota this weekend for a three-game series with Minnesota. They will play today and Sunday in the Metrodome and will get a chance to play at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, on Saturday.
