Today the long-awaited news of a game in Ireland between Penn State and Central Florida was formally announced. The game will be held in Croke Park in Dublin. It will be a nice way to continue introducing the Irish to the sport of American football, which UCF head coach George O'Leary said was similar in some ways with the traditional Gaelic sport of hurling. Look it up, it's pretty cool but I would suggest it has more of the elements from lacrosse and rugby. Close enough I suppose.
Here is video from the press conference, including O'Leary and a handful of locals dressed up in PSU and UCF football uniforms.
