Will Hackenberg lead the Big Ten in TD passes in 2014?

run-vince-run

The Big Ten has a handful of good quarterbacks taking the field this fall, including Penn State’s Christian Hackenberg. I personally still say Braxton Miller of Ohio State is the best all-around quarterback in the conference this season, but who will lead the Big Ten in passing touchdowns this season? That was a question the Big Ten Network debated.

The four names that came up were Hackenberg, Miller, Wes Lunt (Illinois) and Connor Cook (Michigan State). I think putting so much faith in Illinois or Michigan State on offense to put up those kinds of numbers is a bit of a reach, so I think it will come down to Hackenberg or Miller. If you have a feeling Miller will get banged up at some point, that is fair given his history, so he could miss some playing time along the way. But Hackenberg will be playing behind a somewhat questionable offensive line as well, and he may have to wait for a go-to receiver to emerge.

So, who do you have leading the Big Ten in passing touchdowns and why? Share your thoughts in the comments here or over on the Big Ten Network.
