The Ohio State Buckeyes (5-1), who rank No. 13 in the most recent AP Poll, will look for their fifth straight win as they travel to Happy Valley to face the Penn State Nittany Lions (4-2). Ohio State is coming off a convincing 56-17 home victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.  Quarterback J.T. Barrett threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns. Barrett added 107 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Running back Ezekiel Elliott 97 total yards and one touchdown. Ohio State’s defense limited Rutgers’ quarterback Gary Nova to 192 passing yards and forced one interception.  Ohio State and Penn State is one of the Big Ten’s best rivalries, so fans will have to pay premium ticket prices for this match-up.

According to TiqIQ, the average ticket price for Penn State vs Ohio State football tickets is currently $217.72 on the secondary market while the get-in price for the game is $102. Current ticket prices exceed season averages which indicate a higher demand for this game, 49% above the remaining season average for Penn State football tickets at home.

Penn State will look to end a two-game losing streak when Ohio State comes to town. Two weeks ago, Penn State dropped a close 18-13 decision at Michigan. Penn State’s rushing attack was only able to muster 54 rushing yards while quarterback Christian Hackenberg completed 21-of-32 passes for 160 yards.

On top of above average ticket prices, Penn State will look to avenge last year’s embarrassing 63-14 defeat in Columbus. Ohio State’s offense totaled 408 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Ohio State will not have quarterback Braxton Miller or running back Carlos Hyde for this year’s showdown, but Barrett and Ezekiel have stepped up. Penn State’s offense averaged just three yards per carry, so if Penn State were to pull off an upset, it must run the ball more efficiently. Expect a hostile Penn State crowd for this Big Ten showdown.
