Penn State is heading to the Pinstripe Bowl to take on Boston College at the end of the month. The game should be a fun one and will surely see some energy in the northeast corner of the state. Boston College, coached by former Temple head coach Steve Addazio, will be a tough team for Penn State to beat. The Eagles have played well in ACC play this season and even gave Florida State a run for their money. Then again, who hasn’t given Florida State a challenge this season.

Penn State will be the first Big Ten to be represented in the Pinstripe Bowl under the new bowl contract with the game, although Rutgers has played in the game twice before. Rutgers is 1-1 in the game as a member of the Big East and American Athletic Conference. Will Penn State record the first Big Ten win in the game?
This is Boston College’s first time playing in the Pinstripe Bowl too. The Eagles will represent the ACC for the first time as well, although ACC member Syracuse has played in the game as well. Syracuse is 2-0 in the game.
