Bill O’Brien still respected by Penn State players, and all is set for the Class of 2015.
I swear one day I am going to take a deeper look at the brief Bill O’Brien era when time permits, because I think it is fascinating on so many levels. O’Brien became a fan favorite with his approach to the game, and his players that played for him at Penn State continue to show respect to the former coach. Mike Hull, Adrian Amos and Deion Barnes all shared some positive comments about O’Brien with the Houston Texans website.
Penn State’s current coach, James Franklin, has already started to leave his own impact on the program. While doing so, he remains true to being a proud family man. In Augsut he shared a video of one of his daughters, Shola, attacking the sled with authority. He brought that back yesterday in response to the “Like A Girl” campaign sponsored by Always. It once again was worth watching.
Still thinking about how the Seattle Seahawks didn’t hand the ball to Marshawn Lynch when this reminder of how nothing should be considered a given popped into my head…
Penn State and Indiana fans will remind you running in from the one-yard line is not always a given TD. https://t.co/FpDsWDPBlx

Penn State Recruiting News
Happy National Signing Day Eve! Tomorrow is the big day for college football and recruiting. The fax machines are probably being tested today as they get ready to be used tomorrow. One day they will do this with a technology that is a bit more modern, I’m sure.
There was a flurry of activity around the recruiting circles last night, but things were pretty silent on the Penn State front. At this point in the game, it looks as though all is peaceful for Penn State’s Class of 2015. the class is pretty much settled between 24 scholarships and some walk-on additions lined up and ready to go. By most accounts it seems there should not be any surprises for Penn State, positive or negative, but you just never know what is going to happen on signing day until it happens. So stay tuned!
Talking 10 does offer a look at five signing day announcements some fans around the Big Ten will be paying attention to, but none have a Penn State connection.
