Lions 247 has some VIP info and reaction on Penn State and Class of 2017 linebacker target Dylan Rivers. Lions 247 also has a good free read on how the coaching staff is looking to tweak its recruiting approach with regard to splitting up the state and surrounding regions to be a more efficient recruiting team. Essentially, last year was the first go in the state for the staff, so they are looking to see what worked and what can be improved. Yeah, it can get better.
Nate Bauer over on Blue White Illustrated is always a good read as well and he had a column yesterday on the resources Penn State has at its disposal for recruiting moving forward, and what changes are being made.
NFL Films Founder Ed Sabol Dies
Though most people reading this are more likely to remember his son, Steve Sabol, Ed Sabol is the founder of NFL Films and his impact on the game of football cannot be overstated. NFL Films changed the game when it comes to footage of football and they reached beyond the NFL.
