To avoid a cover jinx in recent years magazine companies have started expanding their regional covers to feature talent a little closer to home whenever possible. Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg appears on the cover of this particular Big Ten preview, which I received in the mail today along with a copy of the national preview from Athlon Sports. “Hackenberg poised to bounce back” is one of the headlines on the cover, and I could not agree more.
